George W. Powell

George W. Powell age 65, of Pembina, ND formerly of the Drayton area died on Sunday, August 30, 2008, at Pembina, ND. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 6, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial in the North Dakota Veterans Cemetery, Mandan, ND.
George Walter Powell was born January 26. 1943, at Drayton, ND to Raymond and Lillian (Burton) Powell. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He was currently working for the Tim Wilwand Farms.
He is survived by his children, Michael Powell in Wisconsin, Melissa Powell, Jo Ann Olson, and Raymond Powell all of Thief River Falls, MN.
George was preceded in death by his parents.
