George Branesky, 80, of Langdon, ND passed away Wednesday, January 7, 2009 at the Memorial Hospital in Jacksonville Florida.
George was born to Nicholas and Lena (Debwoy) Branesky on April 12, 1928 at Max, ND. He grew up in Max and worked on the farm with his uncle until moving to California where he worked in the shipyard. George then entered the US Army during WWII. He moved to Langdon, ND in the late 1950ââ¬â¢s and worked on the missile site until retiring. He was a member of the Ironworkerââ¬â¢s Local 512.
George is survived by his children: George Jr. of Mandan, ND, David of Alamo, GA, Raymond of Independence MO, Dennis of Salina KS, Cindy Rexroth of Greencastle, PA, and Jack of Indianapolis, IN; brothers: Leon (Nancy) Branesky of Jacksonville, FL, and Daniel (Janet) Branesky of Champlin, MN.
He was preceded in death by his wife Eileen, and daughter Valerie Halls.
A prayer service will be held at 7 oââ¬â¢ clock on Thursday, January 15, 2009 at the Brooks Funeral Home in Langdon, ND with visitation beginning at 6 pm.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 2 oââ¬â¢ clock on Friday, January 16, 2009 at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church in Langdon, ND visitation will be held for one hour prior to the service.
