Freddy W. Cook, 73, of Walhalla, ND passed away Monday, April 1, 2019 at his home. A memorial service will be held Monday, April 8, 2019 at 2:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services.

Freddy W. Cook was born June 10, 1945 at Grafton, ND, the son of Gordon “Bud” and Annie (Dalzell) Cook. He grew up and attended school at Walhalla and graduated from Walhalla High School. From 1966 to 1968 he served in the U.S. Army. After his discharge from the service he attended Mayville State.

He married Patricia Harildstad and together they had two children, Kristie and Chad. He then married Patsy Lafferty and they had a daughter, Desirae.

Things he enjoyed were working on cars, hunting, gardening, and camping.

He is survived by his children: Kristie (Mike) Rousseau and Chad Cook all of Federal Way, WA, Desirae Kalis, Walhalla, ND; grandchildren: Joe and Tyler Rousseau and Chace Cook; step-children: Chris and Warren Johnson and their families. Also survived by his siblings: Calvin (Joan) Cook, Gary Cook, Diane (Rodney) Baker, Judy Cook, Gerald Cook, David Cook, and Larry (Julie) Cook.

Preceding him in death were his parents; Patsy Lafferty; son-in-law, Kelly Kalis; nephew, Anthony Cook.

Visitation for one hour before the time of services.
