Everett C. Hillman

Everett Hillman age 93, of Cavalier, ND died on Saturday, April 19, 2008, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, April 24, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Wednesday, April 23rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. Masonic service at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial will be in the Peters Cemetery, Svold, ND.
Everett C. Hillman was born January 14, 1915, near Akra, ND to Steine "Stone" and Cenia (Spangelo) Hillman. He grew up in the Akra area and attended country school near Svold. He farmed and raised shorthorn cattle in the Akra and Svold area his entire life.
He was a member of the Tongue River Masonic Lodge and the Kem Temple Shrine.
Survivors include his twin brother, Eldon Hillman, Grand Forks, ND; sister, Helyn (Leo) Walerius, West Fargo, ND and several nieces and nephews.
Preceding him in death were his parents, and sisters, Alpha Sturlaugson and Norma Holen.
