Eva Nupdal

Eva Nupdal, 89, of Cavalier, ND, passed away Saturday, March 4, 2017, at the Lutheran Sunset Home, Grafton, ND. Memorial Service will be held Saturday, March 11, 2017, at 1:00 p.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until the time of the service at the church.

Eva Gullingsrud was born November 17, 1927 at Edinburg, ND to Henry and Alice (Johnson) Gullingsrud. She grew up and attended school in Edinburg. Eva moved to Bloomington, IL after school and worked as a file clerk at State Farm Insurance. On November 22, 1947, she married Steve Nupdal. Eva did bookwork for Steve and also sold Watkins and Blair products. She enjoyed reading, writing letters, embroidery and taking care of her flower beds. Eva also loved watching & feeding the birds & other wildlife in their yard.

Survivors include her children: Dianne (Gerald) Gerlach, West Fargo, ND; Roger (Mae) Nupdal, Clarksville, TN; Cindy (Randy) Meece, Fargo, ND; Andy (Janice Townson) Nupdal, Hensel, ND; Amber Greenwood (fiancé, Tyler Miller), Cavalier, ND; Jason (Ellen) Nupdal, Hallock, MN; James (Amanda) Nupdal, Crystal, ND; Joel (Janet Schmitz) Nupdal, Hensel, ND; 15 grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren; sister, Inez Lerud, Chino, CA; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Preceding her in death were her parents, husband Steve; sons: Dennis Stefan, Rory David, and Stewart Orlin Nupdal; brothers: Curtis, Orlin, and Clayton; sisters: Edith and Salina.
