Eva Moos, 95, of Langdon, ND, passed away Friday, January 14, 2011, at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.
Eva was born July 2, 1915, in Langdon, ND to Medric and Laura (Marcelin) Chaput. She attended rural school in Perry Township, Cavalier County. Eva married Jacob R. Moos on December 2, 1936 in Langdon, ND. They farmed near Langdon and Nekoma for many years until they retired and moved to Langdon in 1972. Jacob passed away on September 10, 1982, he was 74 years of age. Eva lived in her home in Langdon until 2005 when she moved to Wheatland Estates. In January 2008, Eva moved to Maple Manor Care Center.
Eva was active in the church, Altar Society, Catholic Daughters and also Homemakers. Her pride and joy, however, was her family. She loved to visit, play cards and just enjoy. She was always there to help. Eva is survived by three sons: Robert (Karen); Darrel, both of Citrus Heights, CA; Duane (Kathy) of Fargo, ND, seven grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren, siblings: Leona Johnson and Hilda Wilhelmi, George, Wilbert, Tom, and Medric Chaput.
Eva was preceded in death by one son, Gary, who died in infancy, two sisters; Marie Everson and Annette Prince and one brother, Sylveo.
Mother was loved by many and will be deeply missed. All of your kindness and thoughtfulness will never be forgotten.
Visitation will begin at 5 with a 7pm Prayer Service all at the St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon, ND on Monday, January 17, 2011.
