Emily M. Abraham

Emily M. Abraham age 93 of Cavalier, ND died on Sunday, March 25, 2007, at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, March 30, 2007, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cavalier Baptist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday, March 29th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Emily M. Heller was born April 5, 1913 at Cavalier, ND to Frank and Edith (Miller) Heller. She attended school at Cavalier, where she graduated from high school.
On October 13, 1934, she married William J. Abraham at Cavalier, ND. They farmed west of Cavalier, moving into town in 1960. Emily worked at Cavalier Dry Cleaners and Farmers Elevator as a bookkeeper until her retirement. William passed away on October 10, 1987.
Emily was a lifelong member of the Cavalier Baptist Church and Ladies Aide; and the Pembina County Memorial Hospital Auxiliary.
He is survived by her son, Ron (Shirley) Abraham, Lakeside, MT; grandson, Rory Abraham, Tucson, AZ; three step-grandchildren, Cindy Guthrie, Missoula, MT; Linda Martin, Willsal, MT; and Terry Price, Amberg, WI; sister, Janice (Alvin) Cull, Hamilton, ND; sister-in-law, Florence Heller, Cavalier ,ND; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Mildred Reichert and Laura Reichert; and brother Milton Heller.
