Emil Danielson

Emil Danielson age 87, of Walhalla, ND, died on Tuesday, June 2, 2009, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 6, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Friday, June 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Vang Cemetery.
Ingvald "Emil" Danielson was born April 24, 1922, in Freemont Township of Cavalier County to Bernard and Bertha (Bjornson) Danielson. He grew up and attended school at Freemont Rural School #7. Emil worked for area farmers his entire life, until his retirement.
He is survived his brothers, Bjorn (Shirley) Danielson, Carbondale, KS, Neil Danielson and Don Danielson, both of Walhalla, ND, sisters, Betty (Merle) Mathison, Grand Forks, ND and Sylvia Gaspard, Enumclaw, WA, sister-in-laws, Alyce Danielson, Mankato, MN, Della Danielson, Devils Lake, ND, Lorrayne Danielson, Henderson, NV, Mary Danielson, Walhalla, ND, Lucille Danielson, Grand Forks, ND, and several nieces and nephews.
Emil was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Ray, Carl, Chris, Peter, Lloyd, and Dale, sisters, Ethel (Olin) Olson and Gloria Jean Danielson.
