Emelia Thielbar, 102, of Langdon, ND, passed away Monday, December 25, 2017, at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital in Langdon.
Emelia Robillard was born May 23, 1915 in Bottineau, ND to George and Celina Robillard. She married Clarence Thielbar in October of 1932. They made their home and raised their son, Lawrence, on a farm near Olga, ND. In the fall of 1979, Emelia moved to Langdon where she lived until she was 99 years old then moved to Osnabrock Living Center. She loved baking, crocheting, and gardening. Emelia was a member of United Lutheran Church in Langdon.
Emelia is survived by her son, Lawrence (Laura) Thielbar, of Langdon; grandchildren: Scott (Marnie) Thielbar of Langdon, Lynda (Patrick) Davy of Burlington, ND, and Steven (Nancy) Thielbar of Langdon; great-grandchildren: Kacey Thielbar, Kelsey Thielbar, Justyn Davy, Morgan Thielbar, and Chase Thielbar; sister Isabelle Bonaime of Cherry Valley, CA, and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband Clarence; sister Alice; and brothers: Bill, Ernest, Odell, Morris, and Richard.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, December 28, 2017, at Brooks Funeral Home Chapel in Langdon, ND.
