Elizabeth M. "Lizzie" Wilson, age 95, of Walhalla, ND died on Sunday, May 27, 2007, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 2, 2007, at 3:00 p.m. at the Walhalla Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation on Friday, June 1st from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla, ND.
Elizabeth M. Bogart was born May 19, 1912, at Michigan, ND to Raymond and Bessie (Nowek) Bogart. She grew up in Michigan, where she graduated from high school as salutatorian.
On December 24, 1932, she married Clarence Lloyd Wilson at Bagley, MN. In 1941, they moved to Walhalla. Lizzie worked at various retail businesses in Walhalla and managed the Ben Franklin store. She enjoyed fishing and spent many summers at Rocky Point at Lake of the Woods. Lloyd Wilson died on December 28, 1975. Since December of 2005, she has been a resident of the Pembilier Nursing Center. She was a member of the Walhalla Senior Citizens and the Walhalla Lutheran Ladies Aide.
She is survived by her daughters, Marcia Loy (Elmer) Tesmer, Walhalla, ND; Betty Jean Wilson, Cavalier, ND; Carolyn Rae (Gerald) Thompson, Mesa, AZ; 14 grandchildren; 33 great grandchildren; and 12 great great grandchildren.
Lizzie was also preceded in death by her parents, twin sister, Edith and brothers, George and Gordon.
