Eleanor L. Puppe

Eleanor L. Puppe, 85, of Crystal, ND died on Thursday, October 14, 2010, at Sanford Health Palliative Care, Fargo, ND. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 18, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Crystal United Methodist Church, Crystal, ND. Visitation on Sunday, October 17th from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Crystal Memorial Cemetery.
Eleanor L. Skaro was born May 17, 1925, near Hensel, ND to Theodore and Caroline (Anderson) Skaro. She grew up and attended school in the Hensel area.
She married Roy Puppe and after their marriage they owned and operated the drive-in at Crystal. Roy passed away in 1972.
Spending time with her family, gardening, baking and cooking were things she enjoyed.
Survivors include her daughter, Marylou (Regan) Gourde, Grand Forks, ND; grandchildren, Kristyl Lomeli, Las Vegas, NV, Miranda (Waylon) Hejny, Ogden, UT, and David (Meagan) Narlock, Portland, OR; great grandsons, Landon Foster, Dylan and Bronson Hejny, and Otto Narlock.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; son, Robert D. Puppe; and brothers, Willis and Marlyn "Buddy" Skaro.
Clergy: Margaret Smith.
Organist: Darin Otto.
Honorary Pallbearers: All of Eleanor's Friends.
Casket Bearers: Regan Gourde, Waylon Hejny, Harold Johnston, Donald Puppe, Randy Skaro, and Tim Timmerman.
