Elaine C Meagher

Elaine Carol Cote was born to Delmen and Edna Cote (Olson) on December 8, 1933 at Grygla, MN. She attended school at Thief River Falls, MN and graduated from Lincoln High School. Elaine and Lloyd Meagher were married on December 1, 1951 in Thief River Falls, MN. They resided in Pembina, ND. Lloyd and Elaine farmed and worked at other various jobs.
Elaine enjoyed traveling with family and friends. She loved seeing her family grow and spend special moments with them. She enjoyed her bible study with her friends.
Elaine's recipe for happiness goes as follows: Take two heaping cups of patience, one handful of love, two handfuls of generosity, dash of laughter, a handful of understanding. Sprinkle generously with kindness, add plenty of faith, and mix well. Spread over a period of a life time and serve everybody you meet.
Survivors include her children: Kerry (Debra) Meagher, Savage, MN, Steve Meagher, Sidney, MT, Allan (Jamie) Meagher, Pembina, ND, Lori (David) Kearns, Hensel, ND, Bonnie (Kevin) McGauvran, Pembina, ND; 15 grandchildren, 29 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd, daughter, Janelle Elaine (husband, Clair Karol), and son, Randy Lloyd Meagher.
Elaine C. Meagher, 82, Pembina, ND, passed away Friday, December 11, 2015 at her home in Pembina.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, December 16, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. at Assumption Catholic Church, Pembina, ND. Visitation will be held Tuesday, December 15th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Interment will be held in the Pembina Cemetery.
