Edward R. "Eddy" Masloski age 80 of Pembina, ND died on Saturday, January 2, 2010, at the Kittson County Memorial Nursing Home, Hallock, MN. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, January 7, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the Assumption Catholic Church, Pembina, ND. A prayer service will be held on Wednesday, January 6th at 7:00 p.m. at the Assumption Catholic Church. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred to the Assumption Catholic Church.
Edward Masloski was born September 23, 1929, at Hallock, MN to Anton and Mary (Polejewski) Masloski. He attended a one room country school near Lancaster, MN. In 1951, he enlisted in the U.S. Army and served in Korea until 1953.
On September 30, 1953, he married Annette Desrosier in Pembina, ND. They moved to Watertown, SD and he worked for Schull Construction until 1980. The family then moved to Pembina where he worked for Valley Landfill until his retirement in 1992. Eddy loved fishing, hunting and camping. He was a member of the American Legion and the Eagles Club.
He is survived by his wife, Annette; sons, Rick (Connie) Masloski, Watertown, SD, Tom (Brenda) Masloski and Michael "Mick" Masloski, all of Pembina, ND, Tim (Yvonne) Masloski, Westminster, CA, and Jim (Karen) Masloski, Pembina; 11 grandchildren; two great grandchildren; siblings, Vicky Hauller, Watertown, SD, Sophie Olsonowski, Hallock, MN, Raymond (Beverly) Masloski, Thief River Falls, MN, Harry (Marge) Masloski, Forest Lake, MN, and Betty (Steve) Lockman, Lancaster, MN.
Preceding him in death were his parents, twin sister, Eleanor Stewart, sisters, Margaret Robak and Martha Michnick, and brother, Louie.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Tim Noah.

Military Rites: Kern-Thompson Post #77, Pembina American Legion.
Honorary Pallbearers: All of Eddy's Friends and Family.
