Edward Latozke

Edward Latozke, age 91, of Bathgate, ND died on Sunday, November 29, 2009, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 3, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. at the Christ Lutheran Church, Neche, ND. Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 2nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Bruce Cemetery, Neche, ND.
Edward was born September 1, 1918, at Neche, ND to Adolph and Olga (Stegman) Latozke. He grew up and attended school in the Bruce area. Ed farmed in the Bruce area and relocated to Seattle, WA, where he worked for Boeing. He later returned to Bathgate, where he worked at the Pioneer Rest Home until his retirement.
On October 17, 1941, he married Amy Sagert at Christ Lutheran Church in Neche. She survives as do his children, Leslie (Bonita) Latozke, Seattle, WA and Janice Ann Alexander, Maryville, TN; three grandchildren, Jeff, Jason, and Brianna; brothers, Alfred (Esther) Latozke, Mountain, ND, Irwin (Luella) Latzoke, Cavalier, ND; and sisters, Doris Armstrong, Seattle, WA and Hilda Clark, Walhalla, ND.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Arthur and Paul Latozke and sister, Evelyn Kiel.

Casket Bearers: Floyd Clark, Alan Latozke, Dean Latozke, Don Latozke, Larry Latozke, Keith Sagert, and Mark Sagert.
