Edna H. Hodgert

Edna H. Hodgert age 85 of Cavalier, ND died on Friday, January 25, 2008, at the Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. A memorial service will be held Wednesday, January, 30, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Borg Memorial Home, Mountain, ND. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Edna H. Newman was born February 9, 1922, at St. James, Assiniboia, Manitoba to John and Hansia (Guigdson) Stewart. She grew up in the Winnipeg area.
On September 20, 1941, she married James C. Hodgert. They lived in the Los Angeles area. James died on October 22, 1985.
In 2001 she moved to Pembina and in 2003 to Cavalier. For the past three years she has resided at the Borg Memorial Home in Mountain.
She is survived by her brother, Robert (Doreen) Newman, Surrey, British Columbia, sister, Irene Halls, Vancouver, British Columbia; numerous nieces and nephews.
