Earnest V. Anderson

Earnest V. Anderson, 86, of Cavalier, ND passed away Monday, November 25, 2013, at Wedgwood Manor, Cavalier. Funeral services will be held Monday, December 2, 2013, at 2:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial will be held in the Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla, ND.
Earnest was born August 4, 1927, at Walhalla, ND to Ingvald and Gunda (Erickson) Anderson. He grew up in the Walhalla area where he attended school. After serving in the U.S. Army he resided in the Seattle area. In 1952 he married Phyllis Lykken. They resided in Seattle, where he worked for the University of Washington until 1982. After his retirement, they moved to Mesa, AZ.
Survivors include his sisters: Mae Gainer, Cavalier, and Iona Green, Arlington, WA.
Preceding him in death were his parents; wife, Phyllis; sisters: Violet, Adeline, and June; and brothers: Lloyd and Earl.
