Duane M. Nowatzki

Duane M. Nowatzki, 54, of Cavalier, ND passed away Wednesday, May 1, 2013, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, May 4, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at the St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Church, Cavalier. Visitation will be held Friday, May 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial will be held in the St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Cemetery.
Duane was born February 17, 1959, at Cavalier, ND to Cecil and Leona (Schwartz) Nowatzki. He grew up in Cavalier where he attended school. Duane was employed at Warehouse Foods and currently at Swanson Motors in Cavalier.
Spending time with his family, hunting, fishing, watching and attending car races were things he enjoyed.
Survivors include his mother, Leona, Cavalier; brothers, James Nowatzki and Kevin (Paula) Nowatzki; niece, Allison and nephew, Wyatt, all of Grand Forks, ND.
Preceding him in death was his father, Cecil and brothers, David and Anthony.
