Duane "Butch" R. Indridson

Duane R. “Butch” Indridson, 62 of Cavalier, ND. passed away Saturday, September 15, 2018 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Thursday, September 20, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at the St. Brigid of Ireland Catholic Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Wednesday, September 19th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the church. Burial will be held in the St. Brigid’s Catholic Cemetery.

Duane R. Indridson was born January 22, 1956 at Cavalier, ND to Duane “Dewey” P. and Dolores (Gibson) Indridson. He grew up in Cavalier and graduated from Cavalier High School in 1974. Butch worked at Farmers Union in Cavalier for 33 years and for the past nine years has worked at Marvin Windows in Grafton, ND.

Butch was a charter member of the Cavalier Jaycees, served on the Cavalier Fire Department for 33 years, currently serving as Chief, and a member of the St. Brigid’s Catholic Church where he had served as an altar server.

Things he enjoyed were hunting, golfing, mowing, baking, word searches, country cruises, and cherished spending time with his granddaughters.

On June 12, 1982, Butch married his wonderful wife, Valerie Richard at Bottineau, ND. She survives him as do his daughters: Kristin Sharp (Tony Nelson), Emerado, ND, Mindy Indridson (Chad Mondor) and Miranda (Brett) Scholler, his mother, Dolores Indridson, all of Cavalier, ND. He was Papa to Micayla Sharp, Zoey Indridson, Kinzee and Paityn Scholler. Also survived by son-in-law, David Sharp, Emerado, ND.

Preceding him in death was his father, Duane P. Indridson; grandparents: Percy and Adeline Indridson and William and Alma Gibson.
