Duaine Sott

Duaine Sott, 68, of Cavalier, ND passed away Sunday, December 3, 2017 at Valley Eldercare, Grand Forks, ND. A visitation will be held Friday, December 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial will be held in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Duaine was born October 14, 1949 at Grafton, ND to Carl and Dorothy (Shannon) Sott. He grew up and attended school in the Hensel-Cavalier area and graduated from Cavalier High School. Duaine worked at MCI in Pembina, ND and for local farmers. Things he enjoyed were fishing, hunting, motorcycling, and spending some winters in Georgia with his mother.
He is survived by his siblings: Carlene Bentley, Hephzibah, GA, Randy (Lois) Sott, Grand Forks, ND, Linda (Grant) Hanna, Fargo, ND, Herman (Gwen) Sott, Cavalier, ND; nieces and nephews: Karin Waycaster; Wendy Sott and Kristi Torgerson; Mike and Steve Hanna; Tonya Furstenau and Justin Sott.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother-in-law, Matt Bentley.
