Doris P. Palmason

Doris P.Palmason age 88, of Cavalier, ND died on Tuesday, December 26, 2006, at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held on Friday, December 29, 2006, at 9:30 a.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 28th from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier ,ND. Visitation for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Vidalin Cemetery, Hensel, ND.
Doris P. Larson was born May 13, 1918, in Midland Township of Pembina County to Louis and Bertha (Shirley) Larson. She grew up in the Cavalier area and attended the Akra School. She worked as a cook in various cafes and at the St. Anne's Guest House in Grand Forks for several years. In April of 1997, she moved to Cavalier, ND. Doris was a charter member of the United Lutheran Church in Cavalier.
On March 16, 1942, she married Earl Palmason in Yuma, Arizona. He passed away on April 12, 1972.
She is survived by sisters, Clarine Robinson and Margaret Rickbeil, both of Cavalier, ND; and several nieces and nephews.
Doris was also preceded in death by her parents, sisters, Lillian Simons, Beatrice Fansett, Mildred Rickbeil, and Donna Furstenau; and a brother, Loran Larson.
