Donald Robert Fritz

Don was born on March 4, 1925 in Pembina, ND to Martin & Edna (Renville) Fritz. Don served his country during WWII in the United States Navy and was discharged in 1946. He married Irene Desrosier in Pembina, ND on October 20, 1948. Following their marriage they farmed in the Pembina area. In addition to farming, Don also worked at Motor Coach Industries in Pembina, retiring in 1991.
He is survived by his wife, Irene; children, Linda (Gary) Simmons, Bismarck, ND, Ron (Gaye) Fritz, Steve (Mary Beth Morrison) Fritz all of Pembina, ND, Donna (Brad) Haroldson, Sartell, MN, Robert (Debbie) Fritz, Greg (Sue) Fritz all of Pembina, ND; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; sister, Margaret (Roger) Borowitz, Brooklyn Park, MN.
Preceding him in death were his parents and sisters, Jacquline Ross and Emily Slagerman.
Donald Robert Fritz, age 88 of Pembina, ND passed away at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND on Thursday, April 11, 2013.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 16th, 2013 at 10:30am at Assumption Catholic Church in Pembina, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, April 15, 2013 from 5:00 to 7:00pm with a 7:00pm prayer service at the church.
