Doloris Keaveny

Doloris Keaveny, 84, Langdon, ND, passed away Friday, July 1, 2016 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, July 6, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church, Langdon, ND. Visitation will be held Tuesday, July 5th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. vigil service at the Brooks Funeral Home, Langdon, ND. Interment will be held in the St. Michael's Catholic Cemetery, Wales, ND.
Doloris was born May 2, 1932, near Wales, ND to Harold L. and Ida (Johnson) Meyer. She attended the South Dresden #2 Grade School.
On February 16, 1953, Doloris married James Keaveny, Jr. at Wales. In 1957, she began working for Leo Kram at Wales Implement and worked there for over 46 years. While in Wales she was active in the St. Michael's Catholic Church Altar Society and also sang in the Church Choir. In 1997, she moved to Langdon and was active in the Cavalier County Senior Citizens. Things she enjoyed were playing cards and bingo.
She is survived her sister, Idella Moisse, Langdon, ND ; brother-in-law, Pat Keavneny, Grand Forks, ND; many nieces, nephews, and cousins; and her special friend, Carleen Schill.
Preceding her in death were her parents; husband, James Keaveny on December 1, 1973; several aunts and uncles.
