Deloris A. Gunlogson was born February 25, 1936, in Akra, ND to Frank and Della (Gustafson) Gunlogson. She graduated from Cavalier High School in 1954.
On June 30, 1956, she married her sweetheart, Jerry J. Johnson, of Mountain in Tioga, ND. To them three sons were born, Franklin "Frank", Gerry "Joe", and Lyndon "Chip". Deloris and Jerry lived in Tioga for several years during the first ND oil boom. After they moved back to Cavalier, Deloris worked for Pembina Co Social Services, Cavalier Supply as a bookkeeper, and Wedgwood Manor in the office.
Deloris was an avid golfer, if the weather was at all decent in the summer she could be found on the course. During the winter months she created beautiful crocheted and embroidered pieces that she generously shared. She spent a few winters as an avid snowmobiler with her husband and sons or as she said, "My Three Sons." Her grandchildren were the light of her life and she was the favorite aunt of the nieces and nephews. She always had time for her family and friends. She will be missed!
