Della Gunlogson

Della W. Gunlogson, age 94, of Cavalier, ND. died on Sunday, February 28, 2010, at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, March 3, 2010, at 10:00 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Della Wilma Gustafson was born February 28, 1916, at Concrete, ND to Frank and Gina (Gunderson) Gustafson. She attended school at Concrete.
On October 16, 1933, she married Frank Gunlogson at Cavalier. They lived in the Cavalier area all of their married lives except from 1956 thru 1958, when they resided in Tioga, ND.
She worked as a cook at the Cavalier Public School for several years. She spent her leisure hours crocheting. Della and Frank enjoyed golf during the years after they retired. They played golf nearly every day during the summer season. Frank passed away on February 12, 2001.
Survivors include three daughters, Deloris (Jerry) Johnson, Cavalier, ND, Joyce Hanson, San Juan Capistrano, CA, and Judy (Gene) Hamilton, Beach, ND; 12 grandchildren, several great and great-great grandchildren.
Also preceding her in death were her parents, daughter, Kathleen Platt, son-in-law, Darrell Hanson, grandson, Gerry Joe Johnson, three sisters and seven brothers.
Clergy: Rev. Beth Peterson.
Casket Bearers: Allen Austfjord, Vince Austjford, Warren Austfjord, Matt Bjornson, Ralph Thomasson, and Bill Werven.
Music: Christine Hughes, Organist and Linda Werven, Soloist.
