Darwin R. Jobe

Darwin Jobe, 74,of Crystal, ND passed away Sunday, August 7, 2016 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, ND. A memorial service will be held Saturday, August 13, 2016 at 1:00 p.m. at the Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.

Darwin Robert Jobe was born September 14, 1941 in Belle Plain, MN. He loved the outdoors and worked for a handful of farmers in the Crystal, ND area. He was a man of few words, but everyone he met liked him.

Darwin is survived by daughter Crystal (Carolyn) Jobe of Robbinsdale, MN; Carol Jobe of Robbinsdale, MN; dear friend Ella Rae Boehm of Crystal; and sisters: Deanna Shirek of Spanaway, WA, Ruth Ann Britton (Gene) of Canon City, CO. He was preceeded in death by father Carl Jobe, mother Bernice Vanden Hul, John (Jack) Vanden Hul, and sisters Kathryn Tye of Rapid City, SD and Darlene Reeder of Albert Lea, MN.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Bethany in Rapid City, SD, a non-profit that works finding good homes for children in need.
