Darlene Wiedrich

   Darlene Denise Wiedrich, 90, of Langdon, ND, passed away Saturday, July 22, 2023, at Maple Manor Care Center, Langdon, ND.
   Darlene was born January 8, 1933, in Bemidji, MN, to Lloyd and Jessie (Rodgers) Price. In September 1955, Darlene married Douglas Wiedrich, and they lived in Minnesota, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, and North Dakota. Some of the things she enjoyed were growing houseplants, shooting pool, singing in the church choir and karaoke, teaching Sunday school, painting, feather work, sewing clothes for her children, coloring, and gardening. 
   She is survived by her children: Robert Wiedrich, Cathay, ND; Deborah Thorstad, Devils Lake, ND; Kathleen Nelson, Hampden, ND; Theresa Thomas, Hampden, ND; and Barbara Scott, Hampden, ND; 22 grandchildren; 48 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren. 
   She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Douglas; parents; aunts and uncles; grandparents; brother Dale; sister Alta; two sisters-in-law; in-laws William and Sophia Wiedrich; granddaughter Stephanie Nelson; grandson Erick McKay; great-granddaughter Allani Nelson; great-grandson Kyle; and two great-grandbabies she never got to hold. 

   A service was held at the Veterans Cemetery in Mandan, ND.
