Cleo A. Bjornson

Cleo A. Bjornson, 90, of Cavalier, ND died Tuesday, September 21, 2010, at the Borg Memorial Home, Mountain, ND. Funeral services will be held Saturday, September 25, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Friday, September 24th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Burial in the Mountain Cemetery, Mountain, ND.
Cleo A. Sugden was born October 22, 1919, at Hallock, MN to Ben and Agnes (Ward) Sugden. She grew up and attended school in Hallock. In 1939, she moved to Milwaukee, WI and then to California.
She married Harold Greek, who died in 1969, and Carl Berg who died in 1983. On November 24, 1986, she married Kris Bjornson. In 1987, they returned to Cavalier. Kris passed away on December 15, 1994.
Cleo was a member of the United Lutheran Church, MIS Study Club, Cavalier Senior Citizens, American Legion Auxiliary, and the Friendship Club.
Survivors include her stepchildren: Carol Moos and Allen (Marilyn) Berg, all of Sacramento, CA, Dale (Louise) Bjornson, Bellingham, WA, Dean (Susan) Bjornson, Port Orchard, WA; five step-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; sister, Alyce Halbert, Champlin, MN; and several nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; brothers, John and Harold Sugden; sister Ruth Calmer; and step-grandson, Jorey Moos.
Clergy: Rev. Beth Peterson.
Casket Bearers: Dean Allen Bjornson, Matt Bjornson, Bruce Halbert, Dan Halbert, Greg Halbert, and Steve Holm.
