Clayton D. Gendreau

Clayton D. Gendreau age 59 of Walhalla, ND passed away on Thursday, January 17, 2008, after a courageous battle with cancer, at his nephews home in St. Paul Park, MN. For those of us who were fortunate to have him as a part of our lives he will be greatly missed and always loved.
Funeral Mass will be held Thursday, January 24, 2008 at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation on Wednesday, January 23rd from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the St. Boniface Cemetery, Walhalla, ND.
Clayton was born May 25, 1948, at Langdon, ND to Oscar and Beatrice (Carpenter) Gendreau. He was raised in Walhalla and lived there throughout his life. Clayton worked for the Pembina County Highway Department.
He is survived by his sisters, Judynne Bjornson, Maxine Bjornson, Carol Bjornson, and Linda Bjornson; brothers, Loren (Betty) Gendreau and Peter (Nancy) Gendreau and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers, Bobby and Oliver and his nephew, Justin.
