Carleen Agar

August 11, 1944 — November 29, 2010

Carleen Agar, 66, of Gully, MN, passed away on Monday, November 29, 2010 as the result of a pick-up/semi accident near Fosston, MN.

Carleen Alma Agar was born August 11, 1944 to parents Ted and Edith Thronsedt of Fairdale, ND. She was passionate about horses and all other animals. She would have had a hundred animals if she could have but never had the space. Along with her passion for animals were her extreme passions for music and art. She played accordion, piano and guitar by ear. She was an avid painter of majestic mountains and rivers along with animals and wildlife. The professional side of Carleen's life was her focus and love of helping people in the optometric field. She was a dispensing optician for 22 years in Valley City, ND along with a store manager and assistant manager in Kent and Tukwilia, Washington. She was united in marriage to Donald Agar on February 11, 1988 at Las Vegas, NV.

She is survived by five children: Robbyn (Ray) Hovland of Fosston, MN, Todd (Tammy) Heck and Jon (Shar) Heck all of Valley City, ND, Barb (Terry) Harpole of Dawson, ND, and Daniel (Sara) Heck of Brookings, SD. She also is survived by 13 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild with one on the way. She was preceded by her parents and a son, David Agar. Her husband, Donald, passed away as a result of the same accident.

She was a very loving, caring and outgoing person who loved her family and spending time with them. She will be forever loved and missed by her family and friends.

A memorial fund has been set up at Well Fargo Banks for the Humane Society and St. Jude's Children Hospitals in memory of Mom and Pops.



VISITATION for both Donald and Carleen will take place Friday, December 3, 2010 starting at 5pm with a 7pm prayer service at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND.

A JOINT FUNERAL SERVICE for Donald and Carleen will be held Saturday, December 4, 2010, at 11:00 a.m. at the Dovre Lutheran Church of Osnabrock, ND.

INTERMENT Highland Cemetery, Rural Fairdale, ND
