Candace A. Baker, 10, of Neche, North Dakota died Wednesday, May 11, 2011 at her home near Neche.
Funeral Services will be 2:00 pm, Monday, May 16, 2011 at Pembina Valley Baptist Church in Winkler, Manitoba, Canada with burial in the Bruce Cemetery of rural Neche, North Dakota.
Visitation will be one hour prior to services in the church.
Candace Alishia Baker was born October 15, 2000 at Minot, North Dakota the daughter of Philip and Debra (Badger) Baker. She lived with her family in Minot until they moved to a farm near Neche in 2004. Candace enjoyed playing basketball, bouncing on the trampoline, playing with her sisters and brother, and especially her dog, Hunter. Bike rides down to the river to throw sticks into the water were also special to her. She also loved flying and desired to be a pilot just like her dad, having the special ability to spot an airplane in the sky no matter how far away.
She will be deeply missed by her parents, Philip and Debra; brother and sisters, Benjamin, Heather, Emily, Suzanne, and Molly; grandparents, David and Chris Badger, Cecile Lovette, and Philip Baker Sr.; and aunt, Christine Baker.
