Byrl M. Ducioame age 78 of Walhalla, ND died Tuesday, January 13, 2009 at Altru Hospital, Grand Forks, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Saturday, January 17, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation on Friday, January 16th from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Byrl was born October 11, 1930, near Walhalla, ND to Moses and Hannah (Walls) Ducioame. He grew up and attended school at Walhalla, and later worked for Eagan and Johnson Farms.
Byrl enjoyed storytelling and being with his grandchildren and children. In his younger years he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
On October 30, 1954, he married Eileen Dearinger at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Walhalla.
He is survived by his wife, Eileen, children, Cindy Ducioame, East Grand Forks, MN, Cathy (James) Jerome and Douglas Ducioame, all of Walhalla, ND, Christy (Matt) Norton, East Grand Forks, MN, grandchildren, Robert, Jesse, Dylan, Riley, Mathew, Brianna, Carli, and Lukas, siblings, Charlotte, Rietmier, Bremerton, WA, Avis Johnson, Gilette, WY, Ellery (Jan) Ducioame, Wichita Falls, Texas, Merle (Shirley) Radke, Surrey, ND.
Preceding him in death were his parents, grandson, Troy, sisters, Gertrude and Eva, brothers, Lloyd, Charlie, and Billy, and a sister in infancy.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Thomas Krupich.
Casket Bearers: Danny Dearinger, Paul Dearinger, Richard Dearinger, Curt Jerome, Floyd Lafferty, Jerry Lafferty, Lloyd Lafferty, and Steven Melsted.
Honorary Pallbearers: All of Byrl's former employers and co-workers.
