Boyd Lee

December 15, 1937 — April 3, 2011

Boyd N. Lee, age 73, of Walhalla, ND, passed away Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, ND. Funeral service will be held Wednesday, April 6, 2011 at the Cavalier Evangelical Free Church at 2:00p.m., with a visitation one hour prior to the service. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 5, from 5:00 to 7:00p.m. at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Burial at Hillside Cemetery, Walhalla.
Boyd was born December 15, 1937, in Walhalla to Harry and Rose (Jonasson) Lee. He graduated from Walhalla High School. On June 23, 1957, he married Janice Swanson.
Boyd worked for various farmers and several different construction companies in the surrounding area. He worked for Symington Construction Company of Neche, ND, for 28 years before he retired in 2006. Following his retirement, he worked for Border Town Construction of Neche for a short time. Boyd was well known for his wonderful sense of humor, his love for hunting, gardening, telling stories, and looking for arrow heads with his grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Janice; sons: Boyd Jr. (Jane), Jamestown, ND; Joe (Glendene), Jamestown; daughter, Melody (Robert) King, Cavalier; grandchildren: Vickie Lee and Tom Lee, Fargo ND; Kayla Lee and Korey Lee, Jamestown, ND; Tyler King, Cavalier; mother, Rose Lee, Walhalla; brothers: Guy (Kathy) Lee, Walhalla, Perry Lee, Mesa, AZ; Miles Lee, Cavalier; and several nieces and nephews. Preceding him in death was his father.
