Boyd D. Busse

Boyd Busse, 64, of Hensel, ND died on Friday, April 18, 2008, at Grand Forks, ND. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 23, 2008, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul's Lutheran Church, rural St. Thomas, ND. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 22nd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the St. Paul's Lutheran Cemetery.
Boyd D. Busse was born July 9, 1943, at Grafton, ND to Byron and Maude (Ault) Busse. He grew up in the Hensel area, attended school at St. Thomas where he graduated from high school in 1961. Boyd served in the National Guard.
On June 25, 1966, he married Karen Nelson at Adams, ND. He farmed in the Hensel and St. Thomas areas until his retirement this past year.
Some of his hobbies were restoring cars and tractors, collecting Lionel trains and riding his Harley-Davidson motorcycle. He was a member of the Valley Cruisers Car Club.
He is survived by his wife, Karen; children, Shawn (Sharyl) Busse, Maple Grove, MN and Rochelle (Jason) Chaput, St. Thomas, ND; and sister, Ione (Curtis) Sandberg, Grand Forks, ND.
His parents preceded him in death.
