Bonnie L. Lembke, 62, of St. Thomas, ND passed away Friday, September 20, 2013, near Keene, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 27, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. at the Cavalier Evangelical Free Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Thursday, September 26th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the Grafton Gideon Camp. Burial will be held in the St. Thomas Cemetery, St. Thomas, ND.
Bonnie was born July 3, 1951, near Walhalla, ND to Robert and Gladys (Kjenstad) Carpenter. She grew up in the Walhalla area and graduated from Walhalla High School. After graduating from Aaker's Business College in Grand Forks, she worked in foster care, elder care, and for Marvin Windows.
She was a member of the Cavalier Assembly of God Church and the Grafton Gideon Camp Auxiliary.
On September 1, 1972, she married Dennis Lembke at Walhalla. He survives, as do her children: Myles (Amanda) Lembke, Blaine, MN, Suzanne (Joe) Sanford, Cushing, MN, Brooke (Dustin) Raaum, Williston, ND, Crystal (Paul) Gerszewski, Minto, ND; grandchildren: Corynne, Jordyn, Mycah, and Acaycia Lembke; Hailey and Carson Raaum; Jaylee Gerszewski; siblings: Harold (Ingrid) Carpenter, Cottage Grove, MN, Lyle (Sharon) Carpenter, Willard (Linda) Carpenter, all of Walhalla.
Preceding her in death were her parents.
