B.J. Kalis

Bryon Dean "B.J." Kalis, age 19, of Walhalla, ND passed away on Saturday, October 16, 2010, at Pembina, ND. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, October 22, 2010, at 10:30 a.m. at the St. Boniface Catholic Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 21, 2010 from 5:30p.m. to 7:30p.m. with a 7:30 p.m. prayer service at the St. Boniface Catholic Church. Burial in the St. Boniface Catholic Cemetery. Arrangements with Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND.
Bryon Dean "B.J" Kalis was born November 4, 1990, at Cavalier, ND to Bryan and Lori (Cook) Kalis. He grew up and attended school at Walhalla, graduating from Walhalla High School in 2009. B.J. was employed by D.L. Barke, where he ran heavy equipment with his dad in Fargo. Snowboarding, video games, and his car are things B.J. enjoyed.
Survivors include his parents, Bryan and Lori Kalis, Walhalla; sister, Amanda Kalis, Grand Forks, ND; grandparents, Frank and Sharon Kalis and Jean Yeado, all of Walhalla; special great aunts and great uncle, Lori Storey, Sandy Storey, and Wayne Storey; along with several other aunts, uncles, cousins, and his many special friends.
Preceding him in death was his grandfather, Raymond Cook.
Celebrant: Rev. Fr. Thomas Krupich.
Honorary Pallbearers: Kelly Mock, Jesse Jerome, and all his many friends.
Casket Bearers: Keith Anderson, Anthony Calvillo, Max Johnson, Nate Lee, Einar Nielsen, and Chris Svenby.
