Bill Brown

William S. "Bill" Brown age 70 of West Fargo, ND and formerly of Cavalier, ND died on Friday, April 3, 2009, at his home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, April 7, 2009, at 2:00 p.m. at the Cavalier Presbyterian Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Monday, April 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services.
Bill was born March 19, 1939, at Grafton, ND to George and Gertrude (Lane) Brown. He graduated from Bathgate High School and then attended N.D.S.U. He farmed in the Bathgate area and also ran a trucking company. Throughout the years, Bill has been an avid curler.
He was a member of the Cavalier Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder, Past Master of the Bathgate Masonic Lodge, and a member of the Scottish Rite, Langdon, ND and the Kem Temple Shrine, Grand Forks.
On August 8, 1964, he married Gayle Wilson at Grafton, ND. She survives, as do his children, William Scott Brown, West Fargo, ND and Julie Rae (Mark) Doyle, Cavalier, ND, grandchildren, Jordan, Kelsey, Kara, and Madison Brown and Victoria, Alexa, and Michael Doyle.
Preceding him in death were his parents.
