Beverly A. Edgar

Beverly A. Edgar, 78, of Bathgate, ND passed away Saturday, July 2, 2016, at the Pembilier Nursing Center, Walhalla, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 7, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at the Assembly of God Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be at the church for two hours before the time of services. Burial will be held in the Hamilton Cemetery, Hamilton, ND.
Beverly A. Dumas was born January 6, 1938 at Langdon, ND to Albert Sr. and Lorene (Schwartz) Dumas. She grew up and attended school in Walhalla, ND.
On November 1, 1957, she married Lincoln Edgar at Neche, ND. Bev was a homemaker and mother and later worked at the Pioneer Rest Home in Bathgate for several years. Things she enjoyed were baking, cooking, gardening, and flowers. Besides listening to music and dancing, she liked playing guitar and sang in Rambling Abe and the Valley Ramblers Band.
She is survived by her children: Mary Kaye (Ardin) Hermanson, Denver, CO, Debbie (Kelly) Furstenau, Cavalier, ND, Russell (Holly) Edgar, Bathgate, ND, Sharon Zaharia, Galesburg, ND; grandchildren: Sara (Darrell) Higgins and Tate (Phylicia) Hermanson; Christina Novak; Sarah and Justin Edgar; Tyler and Brittany Zaharia; great-grandchilden: Samara and Trenton Novak, Maelin and Kaylee Higgins, Addyson and Brooks Hermanson; siblings: Larry Dumas, Elaine Hale, Marlene Hugley, Richard Dumas, Marcella O'Hara, Robert Dumas, Cecelia (Wally) Lafferty.
Preceding her in death were her parents; Lincoln; brothers: Gilbert, Leo, and Albert "Buddy" Dumas; sister, Dorothy Ferch.
