Bernadine Gourneau

Bernadine Gourneau, 49, of Belcourt, passed away July 29, 2013, at Trinity Hospital of Minot.



Bernadine was born June 12, 1964, at Belcourt, ND to Fred and Bernice (Peltier) Peltier. She was educated in Belcourt, graduating in the class of 1982. She was united in marriage to Rodger Gourneau on April 28, 1984. She worked in food service and as a cook over the years and for Turtle Mountain Head Start for over 20 years.



She is survived by her parents; her children: Jack Gourneau, Jason Gourneau, Tamara Gourneau, Jeremy Gourneau all of Belcourt; four grandchildren: Maleah, Ty, Carter, Onyx; and siblings: Cecelia Pattugulan of Longview, WA, Kenny Peltier of Dunseith, Louis (Sandy) Peltier of Belcourt, Marilyn (Roger) DeCoteau of Belcourt, ND, Julie LaVallie of Chicago, Illinois, and Regina Wallette of Chicago, Illinois.



She was preceded in death by her husband Rodger and sister Sheila Jeanotte.





Services will be held on Saturday, August 3, 2013 at 10:00am at Assembly of God of Belcourt, ND with Pastor Curtis Patraude officiating. A meal will follow the service at the Sprung Structure.



Interment will be held at St. Anne's Cemetery of Belcourt, ND.
