Bennie Arens

Bennie Arens, 90, of Grand Forks, ND, and formerly of Langdon, ND, passed away January 31, 2018 in Grand Forks.

Bennie was born August 30, 1927, to Peter and Margaret (Schwatsky) Arens. He attended school and grew up in the Langdon area. He entered the US Air Force, and after being honorably discharged, he returned to the area and farmed his entire life. He lived in Langdon until moving to Valley Elder Care in Grand Forks in 2016. Bennie enjoyed hunting, fishing, and trapping in his younger days.

Bennie is survived by many nieces and nephews and was preceded in death by his parents and siblings: Jake, John, Edwin, Peter, Mary Johnson, Helen Penner, Margaret Hebert and Katherine Hebert.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 4, 2018, at Rosehill Cemetery, rural Langdon, ND.
