Ben Simons

Ben A Simons, 78, of Cavalier, ND passed away on Friday, January 7, 2011, at the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral service s will be held on Thursday, January 13, 2011, at 11:00 a.m. at the Cavalier Baptist Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation on Wednesday, January 12th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Ben Allen Simons was born October 8, 1932, at Cavalier, ND to Herbert G. and Jane (Rowe) Simons. He grew up in the Cavalier area, attended the Cranley School and graduated from Cavalier High School. After attending the North Dakota State School of Science for two years, he then served in the U.S. Army from 1955 to 1956. Ben farmed in the Cavalier area until his retirement in 2000. He was a member of the Cavalier Baptist Church and Pembina County Historical Society.
Preceding him in death were his parents and brother, Robert Simons.
