Ashley LaRae Martens

Ashley LaRae Martens, age 15, of Crystal, ND died on September 20, 2008, Crystal, ND. Funeral service will be Wednesday, September 24, 2008 at 4:00 p.m. at First Lutheran Church in Hoople. Visitation will be on Tuesday, 4-7 pm with a prayer service at 7 pm at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier. Burial will be in the Hoople Cemetery, Hoople, ND.
Ashley was born on July 5, 1993 in Cavalier, ND to Bradley and Cheryl (Buckholz) Martens. She was a freshman at Hoople Valley High School, Hoople. She was active in basketball, volleyball, softball, and the SADD organization at school.
Survivors include her father, Bradley of St. Thomas, mother, Cheryl of Crystal, two brothers, Bradley and Thomas, both of Crystal, three sisters, Christine Martens of St. Thomas, Rebecca Martens of Crystal, Salina Sevingy of Walhalla, paternal grandparents, Robert and Linda Martens of St.Thomas, maternal grandparents, John and Rozella McKay of Donaldson, MN, aunts and uncles, and one niece.
Preceded in death by great-grandparents, Art and Lenora Streed and William and Armanda McKay, great-uncle, Adolph Martens, uncle, David Martens, and aunt, Kimberly Martens.
