Annie Johnson, 79, of Wales, ND passed away and entered Heaven on October 3, 2014.

Annie was born Ruth Ann Estenson to Floyd Oliver and Vera Irene (Hodgins) Estenson on October 10, 1934 in Sarles, ND where she was raised. She graduated from Sarles High School in May 1952 and was united in marriage to Jerry Allyn Johnson on November 25, 1952.

She is survived by her husband: Jerry A. Johnson from Wales, ND and their 5 children: Jeanne (Tom) Noble of Lake Havasu City AZ, Sherry (Johnny Rueger) Harshman of Langdon ND, Jan Johnson of Tempe AZ, Jim (Mary Feil) Johnson of Langdon ND and Jo Ann Johnson of Langdon ND; 9 grandchildren: Jennifer, Jody, Andrew, Samantha, Melissa, Alyson, Megan, Tara and Lyndee; 9 great-grandchildren; sister (Helen) Kay Westerhoff of Corte Madera, CA; and 3 brothers-in-law as well as many cousins, nieces and nephews whom she loved very much.

She was preceded in death by her parents, parents-in-law, infant sister Barbara Jean, and nephews Mark Johnson and Troy Johnson.

Annie loved cooking, playing cards, bingo, garage sales, Chinese food and Sunday family picnics in Wales. She was a devoted wife and mother, loved by all, and a devout Christian who embraced her Lord, loved life and will forever be our Guardian Angel.

The celebration of her life will be held at the United Methodist Church in Langdon on Thursday, October 9th, 2014 @ 10:30 a.m. Visitation will start 30 minutes before the service at the church.

Annie loved the warmer weather therefore her ashes will be scattered in Arizona.

The family requests in lieu of flowers that memorials be made to Cavalier County Senior Meals and Services (Langdon) in her memory.
