Annie M. Cook

Annie M. Cook, age 92 of Walhalla, ND died on Tuesday, March 29, 2005 at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital in Cavalier, ND.
Funeral services will be on Saturday, April 2, 2005 at 10:00 am at the Walhalla
Lutheran Church, Walhalla, ND. Visitation will be held on Friday from 6:00 to 8:00pm
at the Nelson-Askew Funeral Home, Walhalla, ND. Visitation an hour before the services
in the church.
Annie Mae Dalzell was born January 8, 1913, in a log home near Leroy, ND., to Fred and Minnie (Howell) Dalzell. She attended rural school near Leroy through eighth grade and graduated from Walhalla High School in 1930. Annie then attended Mayville State College to earn a teaching certificate.
On September 15, 1934, she married Gordon (Bud) Cook at Cavalier, ND. They then farmed in the Leyden area.
She is survived by her children, Calvin (Joan) Cook, Yoncalla, OR., Gary (Lila) Cook, Karlstad, MN., Diane (Rodney) Baker, Dover, PA., Judy Cook, Placentia, CA., Fred (Judy) Cook, Gerald (Myrna) Cook, and David Cook, all of Walhalla, ND., Larry (Julie) Cook, Janesville, WI., 18 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren, three great great grandchildren,eight step-grandchildren, brother, Freddie (Gladys) Dalzell, Seattle, WA.
Annie was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon (Bud) Cook on July 9, 1990, parents, granddaughters, Stephanie Baker and Angela Cook, sisters, Thelma, Irene, and Florence, and brother, Francis Dalzell.
