Annette Mary Loewen, 67, of Langdon, ND entered her heavenly home on May 26, 2014 at Sanford Health Hospital in Fargo, ND.
Annette Mary Chaput was born on November 25, 1946 to Leo and Bernadette Chaput on the family farm in Olga, ND. She was raised on the family farm near Olga, ND and graduated from Walhalla High School in 1964. On June 10, 1967 she married the love of her life, Dennis Loewen. They farmed west of Langdon and lived the past years in Langdon.
Annette worked at Cavalier County Memorial Hospital for over 25 years and loved working there. She was very involved in the Langdon community. Annette was a member of St. Alphonsus Church as well as a member of the St. Alphonsus Catholic Daughters and Altar Society. She was a member of the Langdon Eagles Auxiliary and was president for several years. Annette worked hard volunteering at the Senior Center and always greeted everyone with her infectious smile and laugh.
She loved spending time with her family and friends and loved a good joke and having fun. She enjoyed walking, riding bike, sewing and crocheting. She always had a smile and a hug for everyone she met.
She left behind her husband of47 years, Dennis; 2 children, Theresa of West Fargo and Brian of Wahpeton; siblings: Lorraine Dalstad of Walhalla, ND, Francis (Linda) Chaput of Walhalla, Elaine (Vernon) Swanson of Walhalla, James (Janelle) Chaput of Olga, ND, Dennis Chaput of Utah; brothers and sister- in-laws: Kenneth (Marlys) Loewen of Langdon, ND, Duane Heck of Langdon, Charlotte (Neil) Olson of Detroit Lakes, MN, Audrey (Skip) Doyle of Arthur, ND, and several nieces and nephews.
She was met in heaven by her parents, brother Leo Chaput Jr., mother- and father-in-law Katie and Abe Loewen, sister-in-law Lois Heck, brother-in-law John Dalstad and brother-in-law Arnold Loewen.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, May 29, 2014 from 5-7:00 p.m. at St. Alphonsus Catholic Church of Langdon with a prayer service and rosary starting at 7:00 p.m. Visitation will also continue on Friday for one hour prior to service time at the church.
Funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, May 30, 2014 at St. Alphonsus Church of Langdon.
Her final resting place will be at Calvary Cemetery of Langdon, ND.
