Ann C. Rollefstad, 84, of Grand Forks, ND and formerly of Cavalier, ND, passed away Thursday, May 30, 2013, at Valley Eldercare in Grand Forks. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013, at 10:30 a.m. at the United Lutheran Church, Cavalier, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, June 3rd from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 pm. with a 7:00 p.m. prayer service at the church. Burial will be held in the Cavalier Cemetery.
Annie C. Stark was born August 2, 1928, near Hamilton, ND to William "Bill" and Amelia "Millie" (Elke) Stark. She grew up in the Cavalier area and attended the Crosby School.
On May 6, 1945, she married Leonard A. Rollefstad at Bathgate, ND. After their marriage they farmed in the Hensel and Cavalier area. Leonard passed away on October 23, 1989. For the past nine years she has resided at Parkwood Place in Grand Forks.
While in Cavalier she enjoyed doing volunteer work at the Wedgewood Manor. She also was an avid reader, enjoyed fishing and playing pinochle.
Survivors include her children: Kermit (Ruth) Rollefstad, Cavalier, Loretta (Jon) Omlid, Grand Forks, Floyd (Patti) Rollefstad, Lahaina, Maui; grandchildren: Lisa Rollefstad and Amy Erickson; Heather Courtney, Kristi Gray, and Christopher Omlid; great grandchildren: Evan Courtney; Abigail and James Erickson; Chloe Omlid; Mackenzie and Logan Vacura.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; sisters, Mata Hartje and Ethel Simundson; and brother, Daniel Stark.
Clergy: Patti Meyers, Intern Pastor; Music: Chloe Omlid, Soloist and Bettie Lou Stegman, Pianist; Casket Bearers: Clarence Boettger, Richard Elke, Dennis Hartje, Carlton Ill, Don Rollefstad, Gilbert Schoenheit.
