Ann McFarlane

Ann McFarlane, 89, of Langdon, ND, passed away May 5, 2011, at the Maple Manor Care Center of Langdon, ND.

Ann Haus was born November 3, 1921 to Joseph John and Catherine (Poss) Haus at Barney, ND and was one of five daughters in a family of seven children. Ann was united in marriage to John Allan McFarlane on July 9, 1964 at the Presbyterian Church of Langdon, ND. They made their home and farmed in the Harvey Centre area near Langdon. John and Ann were able to enjoy 20 winters in Arizona. They moved their home into Langdon in 1990. John passed away April 6, 2006, and Ann has most recently made her home at the Maple Manor Care Center. Ann was the last living child of Joseph and Catherine Haus and the last McFarlane living of her and John’s generation.

Ann is survived by her daughter: Phyllis (Wayne) Jordy of Marietta, GA; grandchildren: Michelle Banaski Dodd and James Banaski; and numerous nieces and nephews.

VISITATION will take place from 4 to 6pm on Monday, May 9, 2011 at the Brooks Funeral Home of Langdon, ND.
