Ann Hunter

Ann Hunter, 93, of Crystal, ND passed away Tuesday, May 11, 2010, at the Lutheran Sunset Home, Grafton, ND. Funeral services will be held Friday, May 14, 2010, at 2:30 p.m. at the Crystal United Methodist Church, Crystal, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Crystal Memorial Cemetery. Arrangements with Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Phebi Ann Rasmusson, the daughter of Tilde (Grythe) and Alfred Rasmusson was born May 17, 1916, in Pinecreek, MN. She grew up in the Pinecreek area and was educated at the Pine Lake Groveside Country School.
On September 10, 1937, she married Wheaton Ray (Ben) Hunter. They made their home in Crystal where they raised their eleven children. Ben passed away June 21, 1984. After this Ann remained in Crystal until September 19, 2006, when she moved to the Lutheran Sunset Home.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (Paul) O'Keefe, Crystal and Leila Gullickson, Hoople, ND; sons, Ray Hunter, Fargo, ND, George (Virg) Hunter, Laramie, WY, Jerry (Debbie) Hunter, Grand Forks, ND, Tom Hunter, Devils Lake, ND, Paul (Becky) Hunter, Grand Forks, Don Hunter, Helena, MT and Ted Hunter, Emerado, ND; 34 grandchildren, 51 great grandchildren; sister, Isabel Almond, Grafton, ND; brother, George (Anna) Rasmusson, Badger, MN; and many nieces and nephews.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; sons, Jim and Lloyd Hunter; sisters, Helen Foster, Gladys Quarford, and Levina Rasmusson; and brothers, Ted, Fred, and Edwin Rasmusson.
