Andy Enerson

Andy Enerson age 89 of Hamilton, ND, died on Friday, August 3, 2007, at the Pembina County Memorial Hospital, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 7, 2007, at 10:00 a.m. at the Hamilton United Methodist Church, Hamilton, ND. Visitation will be held Monday, August 6th from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Jensen-Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND. Visitation at the church for one hour before the time of services. Burial in the Hamilton Cemetery.
Albert A. "Andy" Enerson was born September 12, 1917, in Carlisle Township, Pembina County to Emil and Grace (Nelson) Enerson. He grew up in Carlisle Township and graduated from Hamilton High School in 1936. He farmed in the Hamilton area his entire life. His passion in life was spending winters in Arizona and coming back home in the spring to Pembina County.
Andy was a member of the Hamilton Methodist Church, Civic Club, and Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Scottish Rite and Kem Temple Shrine. Andy was also a member of the North Valley Landfill Board for 32 years.
On June 16, 1940, he married Inez McArthur at Hallock, MN.
He is survived by his wife, Inez; children, Gerald (Annette) Enerson, Horace, ND; Kelly (Joleen) Enerson, Payson, AZ; Connie (Rocky) Schumacher, Grand Forks, ND; Mary Ellen (Dean) Latozke, Neche, ND; Harvey (Denise) Enerson, Rosemount, MN; Richard Enerson, Cavalier, ND; 11 grandchildren; five great grandchildren; siblings; Ida (Woody) Belsheim, Red Bluff, CA; Helen Schauer, Grand Forks, ND; Clarence "Bud" (Marion) Enerson and Harvey (Rhoda) Enerson, all of Hamilton, ND.
Andy was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Karen Hannah; sister, Emily Larson; and brother, Neil.
