Amy L. Latozke

Amy L. Latozke, 93, formerly of Bathgate, North Dakota, passed away Monday, December 8, 2014, at Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND. Funeral services will be held Thursday, December 11, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. at Christ Lutheran Church Neche, ND. Burial will be in the Bruce Cemetery.
Amy was born November 17, 1921, in near Pembina, North Dakota to Albert and Martha (Stegman) Sagert. She grew up in Pembina and graduated from Pembina High School.
On October 17, 1941, she married Edward Latozke in Neche. After their marriage they bought a farm in the Neche area where they farmed. Edward passed away on November 29, 2009.
She worked as a caretaker at the Bathgate nursing home from 1971 to 1992. Things she enjoyed were dancing, reading, embroidery, puzzles, movies and milkshakes.
Survivors include her children: Leslie (Bonita) Latozke, Seattle, WA and Janice Ann Alexander, Maryville, TN; grandchildren: Jeff, Jason and Brianna; great-grandchildren: Logan, Callie, Reese and Quinn; brothers: Harold and Kenny Sagert.
Also preceding her in death were her parents; siblings: Dorothy, Rienhold, and Annie
