Alma Petteys

Alma I Petteys, 94, a resident of the Wedgewood Manor, Cavalier, ND and formerly of Indian River, MI passed away Saturday, April 6, 2013. No local services are planned. Arrangements with Askew Funeral Home, Cavalier, ND.
Alma was born December 3, 1918 in Wilkinsburg, PA to Harry and Stella (Fertig) Swartz. She served in the U.S. Army during World War II. She was married to Richard J. Petteys. They owned and operated the Rexall Pharmacy in Indian River. She was a well known painter and artisit.
Survivors include her children: Christine Petteys, Lubbock, TX, Robert Pettyes, Detroit, MI, and Ronald (Judy) Petteys, Grand Rapids, MI.
